all the annoying banners at the top weren't enough, you realize I and many others are never going to pay a subscription.. so you'd prefer we just don't visit at all eh?

Ditto.

I'm still only seeing 2 articles under portfolio view.

I wonder if they will remove this post.

So, FYI I have been trying Yahoo Finance, MarketWatch, Vanguard (My Broker), Quicken - I keep track of my portfolio within Quicken for Windows and I must say they have improved their news feed greatly from over a decade ago; I had been using Quicken before I found Seeking Alpha.

I have been away for 5 days, and I am surprised that I don't miss it; a little harder to find stuff but all the stuff except the articles is on other sites.  The articles are not worth the yearly cost.  Don't get sucked in by the very low initial cost.

If SeekingAlpha management is reading this I think I would be willing to pay $36/year for your website MAXIMUM.

thx - I'm now looking hard for an alternative.  I'll check out MarketWatch and Yahoo.

Hello,

Thanks for your feedback.

We received confirmation from the tech team that the banners can now be dismissed/closed. Kindly log out and log in once, wait for the banner to appear, and then click on the "x" to close the banner.

When you reach the free limit, the banner will be fixed since their limit is reached, and you can "swipe to go back" or click on the Menu (3-line hamburger) icon to go to the homepage.

Hope this helps. Please feel free to contact support for any additional clarifications.

Best,

Sri

Not true Sri!  Banners still blocking lower half of my page.  Frustrating to not have a clean page to view.  If you want me to upgrade to Premium, this is not how to do it.  Fix it now please!

I've been a daily user of SA for nearly a decade.  This latest change has caused the site to be virtually useless to me.  Without a reversion to the old format of unlimited views, I'll be finding a new source of investing information.

That is NOT true!!! It works only on mobile, but not on PC.

Also, why did you hide ptf news behind paywall?

You are realy forcing me out of web, right?!
