Where and how in Seeking Alpha do I import my portfolios from my other financial institutions? What document formats are you compatible with for that?

seriously?? No CSV import? I was considering getting a premium subscription but will not do if this is missing.

Hi,

The best way to do this is to simply copy paste the list of tickers (with spaces or commas in between the tickers).

Thanks,

Daniel Hochman

Director of Product, Seeking Alpha

Manually entering tickers is unacceptable.  We are asking for a CSV import.  Please make this happen.

I will not be renewing or recommending my premium subscription if the site is not better updated.

Hi Folks. I'm curious about why you are not prioritizing this request. It's truly impossible to enter a large portfolio by hand (20 - 30 stocks with some trades each). I see you can link to the portfolio of brokers. But my broker is not in the list, likely same for a few other folks. With this feature you will make your platform more include for sure :)

Not using the platform because it is missing this extremely important feature.

+1 for this missing feature. My Canadian institution isn't part of the list of banks that PLAID supports. Need a way to upload a CSV with book values, or buys and track worth over time.

In case anyone finds this useful, I’m now using investing.com. The allow CSV imports. The import feature can be a bit clunky but does work. What a pleasure! And all free. I wish Seeking Alpha had it but can’t wait forever.
