Portfolio in left margin

Is it possible to disable the portfolio on the left of the page? If not I will delete my portfolios. This must be the worst idea ever... :-(

Once you're reading you don't want to be distracted by changing numbers, flashing ads or whatever. It's a crazy rat race already without the flashing neon trying to grab your attention. Next stop will be beeping alerts I assume. I'd rather pay $50 per year or so to just have a pleasant experience. Not everyone wants to get crazy.


There's a way around all this by just printing a PDF of the page and just read that. But I guess your goal is to create something that works for both sides.
