Annoying pop-ups for SA "premium service"
Is it really necessary to get a pop-up asking me to subscribe to your premium service every 5-10 clicks? Beyond annoying.

My idea is to plaese not have pop ups all the time pushing Premium SA
SA has distinguished itself again. During this time of crisis (certainly for investors), SA has interrupted my searches, chart reading, & portfolio calculations on average every 4 minutes to push your premium upgrade. Whose brainchild was this? FireHim

I am a PRO subscriber, not least for the promise of "no ads, ever." I appreciate the removal of those distracting ads.
But the autoplay videos are just as bad, if not worse. Please, please, PLEASE-- if you insist on dropping video content on the main landing pages, both for site and for portfolio, DON'T make them autoplay. They are distracting and annoying.
Site has become useless. Can't even read my monthly limit as the damned popups block all the articles. Not interested in the free trial as I'm reading too many complaints from people trying to get money back from what was supposed to be a free trial. Went from a great investor community site to this ad nightmare
Its as if SA is TRYING to run off anyone who does not pay. Its going to be very effective at doing that. Signing up new subscribers? Absolutely NOT.

It seems the solution to annoying your customers with website popups was to make them trigger more often! Brilliant!

Pop-ups are scheduled at 3 times/day/user. if you're receiving it more than that please share screenshots and let us know. This will help us serve you better.
Please note that Pop-ups are different from the side banner ads.

Pop ups every 10 clicks = absolutely annoying and ridiculous.

Good point khanjar24 about the ridiculous popups screwing up the new comments.
Whenever I get a popup, I exit Seeking Alpha.

I use the SA mobile phone app just to look at my portfolio - it's an easy to read at a glance screen.
I've gone back to Fidelity and TD Ameritrade for news. I read (or looked at) many SA articles on a whim. For the most part, I would go straight to the comments section - that would tell me pretty quickly if the article was worth reading. Who would even click on "5 reasons to buy... and 5 reasons to sell" articles" ? written by people who don't even own the stock !
I don't normally waste my time on commenting like this, but SA has only gone down hill over the years.
Every time I come onto a new page for stock there is a pop-up.
Some times the pop up comes up a few seconds later and then resets me to the top of the page.
This is annoying. Stop with the stupid pop-ups.
One pop-up every login is fine. Not one for every new page.
Your pop-ups are useless. I don't even read them, I reflexively close them.
So you are:
1) Antagonizing me
2) Not actually getting whatever you want me to read in front of me because I don't even bother.
So are they any useful then?
