Bump, with yesterday’s latest update 12.5.2 installed, problem still existed.

Note: Referencing previous posts, is a fundamental to insightful commentary. Please prioritize.

Confirmed.

- iOS 12.5.1 (lastest update for many devices) no comments visibility at all

- iOS 14.4.1 has reduced comment visibility

- Windows OS has no issues

This is a recent occurrence (~last 72 hours). An important issue especially when cross referencing previous comments for accuracy.

You can see work is being done here where the use of the @ triggers a SA database tag (specifically iOS). Just some feedback:

If the tag you desire starts with a common name, such as “Scott XXXX”, the tag never gets past “Scott” and therefore the tag notification never makes it to the intended party and goes to the first person who is registered as “Scott” instead. You can see a database come up, but it has difficulty with common names. Perhaps the database has to be brought up for the first 6-8 letters?

Bump. There are now 7-8 threads on this topic with no response. An update on whether this issue is being resolved would be helpful as it is most frustrating.

Problem still exists

Thanks

Unfortunately, not all devices can be updated to iOS 14.4 which is very frustrating since no other website I frequent has this issue. Apple considers 12.5.1 as current and supported.

@eemoon :

Just a heads up that this forum uses “userecho” which is different than what the website is using.

Not that I am here to disagree with you but it is an iOS issue if the more current iOS does not exhibit problems. Where I agree with you is no other website that I frequent exhibits this issue and iOS 12.5.1 is only 43 days old and is deemed current and supported.

If you read the link I provided, iOS 14.4 does not show this issue (nor does Windows). Within the link is a conversation I had with tech support where they did blame the older OS. Yet they did solve the formatting issue which you can read in the link I provided.

This is a problem for me as iOS 12.5.1 is only 43 days old. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/IOS_version_history
