And another screen shot today showing a wrap-around from July 21 to day (Sept 9).

THIS IS A REAL PROBLEM!  FIX IT !!!

Here's another screen shot showing that my comment history only displays through July 12 before looping back around to Sept 6 (today).

Could you guys at least pretend to care?  Otherwise I have to presume simple incompetence.

Another 2 weeks gone by.  No improvement at all.

Do you simply not care?  I can't imagine that a reputable website would be OK with being so unusable.

Whatever you guys are doing, eventually gobbles up all my internet bandwidth.  If I'm streaming video in another browser tab, the video begins to stutter and stops.  What on earth are you guys going to be such a bandwidth hog?

And indeed, why don't they answer posts on this forum about moderation?

For all the bugs in the site, the way they handle moderation is much more frustrating.  I know it's a thankless and never ending job, but the current policy (if you can call it that) seems to be (in the lack of any formal proof) that anyone can report any comment, at any time, for any reason, and it will be deleted and it will count as a black mark against the writer.  Accumulate an unspecified number of black marks, and you'll be placed on a "moderator's approval required" list.  That status apparently is permanent, unless you repeatedly ask (by sending emails that are not replied to), and at some point you can get back to normal status (usually with a stern admonition about needing to follow the rules in the future, which is totally meaningless because the people reporting your posts were doing it out of spite or for nonsensical or totally random reasons).

Appealing to the higher levels of SA management will only get you into a deeper hole.  Actual suspension is the next step.  Even if you know that you did absolutely nothing wrong.

That's been my experience.  Please don't suspend me.  Again.

I am waiting for comments to load in an article that only has 40 comments. For 10 minutes it's been stuck on "Waiting for g.googleads.doubleclick.net".  But this is not a google problem.  No other side bogs down like SA does.  Come on guys, get your act together.

Logging off and back in corrects the problem.  But it happens quite consistently and has been happening for several months at least.

The attached screen shot shows that I can only view the first 32 comments of my history, going back to July 10, before it cycles back to the most recent comment.

Man oh man, wouldn't that be a great feature to have.  I have been suspended multiple times and I'm pretty sure it's from the same two or three people reporting my comments until some magic number is reached.  Moderation always favors the reporter, I've had perfectly innocuous comments deleted for totally bogus reasons (and no, they weren't deleted due to other comments around me being deleted too).  It seems like moderation is totally automated and no investigation is done.
