Yep whatever they did is causing more harm as I always get the message that I have reached the end of my free article limit even for news article that I can get on any other site. I can understand if you have premium access for research article. Also this is before I have even read one article on their site.
Update to my 10-3-21 post, apparently got someone's attention after 8 days of down time. Was contacted by alpha
the sorry to see you go one, anyway there was a contact to which I repeated myself for the 10th time.
Everything is now open to me. It is such a waste of time to have to go thru the process. Good luck to you all and profitable trading.

is news article also consider paid content?
Apparently the limit is ZERO. Haven't been here in months, when I do arrive, 1st article I go to, I get notification I am at my limit.
According to your website, "Seeking Alpha allows access to articles to registered and logged in users.
If you are logged in, you should be able to see full articles, comment sections, and most of our available content"
Well SA, this is no longer true. In fact, it is an outright lie. Further, you say there is a monthly limit, but at the start of a month, access is still blocked.
As I'm unable to access ANY content, I will be leaving. But, in consideration to all the authors that have been followed, I will contact each and explain my 'unfollow' is a function of SA's failure to honor it's own code.
Here it is November 2nd, 2021, and I am informed by Seeking Alpha that I have reached my limit. Well, that is a laugh as I haven't been able to read any articles since, apparently, starting fresh on November 1. There is no way I will be subscribing to Seeking Alpha as I have other sources for analyst research. I wrote to Seeking Alpha in October after getting locked out for the 1st time. I was told the limit was about 5 articles per month. Strange for sure.
I am a DIY investor, a retired researcher, and consumer of a vast amount of investment info. Seeking Alpha popped up as a resource. I read a few articles and was flagged that subscription was required to continue. I don't object to this. What I find deceitful and harassing is to get several emails a day teasing the title of an article in Seeking Alpha. When I click on it, there's the title and link to subscribe to have access to the article. This is an unacceptable business practice. I will never become a Seeking Alpha subscriber because of this. There are many alternative investment resources far more ethical than this.
