Alpha saying I have reached my free article limit. Is there a limit?

Just got "You've reached free article limit" as well. Debating if its worth $119/year for something which I was receiving free since I joined almost 10 years ago.
I think I've been seeing the "You've reached free article limit" for like 2 months now. I guess they have 0 free articles nowadays.
If they have zero free articles, that is more than okay. More than.
When I see the emails now I just delete. In fact, I find the whole service an annoyance now.
There is nothing annoying about a company wanting to be paid for their work. What is annoying is anyone who expects it should be free.
look like no more freebies. I’ve learned and enjoyed reading from some of my favorite authors. But now I have to depend on my own analysis and can not compare with my authors’ analysis articles. Suk!!! I guessed I will have to leave the platform. Sad, I have been here for almost ten years.
