all the annoying banners at the top weren't enough, you realize I and many others are never going to pay a subscription.. so you'd prefer we just don't visit at all eh?

Ditto.  time to leave for a week or so.  I don’t need seeking alpha.  I think I’ll switch the e-mails off/junk.

Seems they think they don't need so many visitors.

If they want it, I hope people will give it.

I'm not closing my account just yet, but not gonna visit web for some time.

I know advertising is needed, but this is over what I'm able to handle.

They make clear they don't want me here!!! So, I'm leaving.

Hello,

Thanks for your feedback.

We received confirmation from the tech team that the banners can now be dismissed/closed. Kindly log out and log in once, wait for the banner to appear, and then click on the "x" to close the banner.

When you reach the free limit, the banner will be fixed since their limit is reached, and you can "swipe to go back" or click on the Menu (3-line hamburger) icon to go to the homepage.

Hope this helps. Please feel free to contact support for any additional clarifications.

Best,

Sri

Why put my portfolio listing of latest items for those stocks in my portfolio behind a paywall?  All I get now are the two latest.  Your authors lose readers this way.  This is not a good move for SA

I can close the banners on Android, but not on the web interface / PC.  Tried both Google Chrome and Firefox.  (and yes, I logged out and logged back in).

But the banners are not the main complaint here...  It's the hidding portfolio news behind the "Want more news?" paywall...  You mentioned "When you reach the free limit" -- does this apply to the "Want more news?" paywall as well?  What is the free limit?  Where can we track that?

wrong. can only see 2 latest new in portfolio. still cant remove banners from popping up all over every new page load. absolutely idiotic. doing a great job making the site useless, won't be long before a competitor snatches the traffic away.

That is NOT true!!! It works only on mobile, but not on PC.

Also, why did you hide ptf news behind paywall?

You are realy forcing me out of web, right?!

I've been a daily user of SA for nearly a decade.  This latest change has caused the site to be virtually useless to me.  Without a reversion to the old format of unlimited views, I'll be finding a new source of investing information.
