Perfect, we are testing a version of the app which does exactly what you said.  Should be available to download in a week or so.  I am already enjoying the test version.

I reported this to our vendor who provides us with historical data

I have been trying to reproduce this problem.  There are two techniques on iPhone to show desktop version, One is built into Safari (inside the share menu) and the other is inside the mobile web itself.  Each technique works differently.  They both work now.

"Request Desktop Site" built into Safari works and loads the desktop site in that tab only.  With this feature, there does not seem to be any way to return to the mobile version, you need to close the tab and open another tab to return to mobile.  It is tab based, so if you click on some link which opens in a new tab, that tab will no longer be desktop mode.

There is also a link in our mobile web menu for  "Desktop Version" .  When you click this link, there is a "Return to Mobile" header to allow return to the mobile web.  Also, if you click on some link which opens in a new tab, that tab will still be in desktop mode.  This is implemented browser wide (via a cookie)

Sure, look for the search box and type a symbol

I have forwarded your request, to our legal dept.

Apologies, I forwarded to the tickers team.

Great Question.  Seeking Alpha is primarily about delivering short form news and analysis articles and that is our core strength, especially when combined with the excellent comment community who puts many of our articles through a microscope..  We have also recently started delivering stock ratings for subscribers, this is another exclusive item.

However, most of the company data that we provide, we get from third party sources and you will see the same bios. for example, on many websites, depending on which data provider the website pulls it from.  Here is an example of another site which uses the same bio word for word.    This "commodity" data is provided for the convenience of our users, and it appears on professional financial platforms as well (In our case, from S&P Capital IQ)   We have recently switched to this data provider because it has better accuracy and support.

It is hard for a casual user of Seeking Alpha, who is not in the market data industry, to understand what is specific to Seeking Alpha and what is just commodity data that you can really get on any website, although we do try to organize the data displays so that it provides a good user experience.

Hope this helps

Well, I wasn't in the company back in 2006, but a casual look at the history of transcripts tells me that our standard used to be F1Q and we settled on Q1 format sometime in 2015.  Hope this helps

P_o_G.   Your mouth to the Boss' ears !

We dont support canadian exchange symbols, we only support USA Traded securities. if there are articles on canadian stocks, they would be tagged using the OTC symbol
