Happy to announce that this issue should now be resolved.
Please let us know if you encounter any additional issues.
Anyway, we'll have someone look at this and get it fixed. And see if there's a larger underlying issue here
When's the last time it worked? I saw 5 messages from JD yesterday?
IWe do protect sensitive parts of your account when auto-logging users in from emails. That said, if you'd like to disable auto-login from emails and prevent, you should go to your User Settings and disable Email Auto-login:
Hi. It appears you have become logged out from the site. Are you clicking to articles from email? If so, you may want to make sure you have our 'autologin' function enabled in your user settings tab:
Apologies for the delay in responding here.
Which ad blocker were you using at the time? Which browser were you on?
And yes, if you could please post a screenshot of the issue, we should be able to start investigating immediately.
The most popular one is Adblockplus. Are you getting our ad block pop-up?
I feel your pain!
Which ad blocker are you using? And do you happen to have any script blockers deployed?
I'd love to help work with you to eliminate the issues you're having as it will certainly help other users experiencing similar problems.
Click on the AdBlock icon in the upper right corner of your browser and select the 3rd tab, 'Customize'.
Next, click 'Show ads on a webpage or domain' and enter https://seekingalpha.com/
You should now be able to browse all pages of the site even with AdBlock turned on (you will of course see ads on Seeking Alpha now).
Just confirming you are on Edge on a Windows 10 machine.
A bit of background here. We removed autologin from email as a security precaution. As users have very sensitive information linked to their Seeking Alpha accounts, we felt that the risk of a security breach was too great should someone gain access to user inboxes. If you have cookies enabled on your machine, this will prevent you from having to keep on logging in repeatedly.
Do you happen to know if you're blocking cookies from 3rd party sites? If so, you need to whitelist seekingalpha.com to not have to log in each time you click from a seekingalpha.com email.
All the best,
