You probably have Firefox's 'Tracking Protection' turned on. Can you please go into your preferences and see if this is the case? This feature disables a lot of basic functionality on our site.

Do you per chance also have a script blocker deployed to Chrome? This would also likely trigger our ad blockeing whitelist message,

Seems like it was likely part of a backfill solution - not something we sold directly. We'll keep a lookout for it but if you do come across it again and can screencap, that will help us identify it with 100% certainty.
